In the earlier part of my fragrance journey, I stayed away from perfumes & attars that had ‘tobacco’ in it only to realize later that few aromatic molecules produced an aroma which is akin to tobacco in the leaf or powder form.
So I have limited experience with tobacco based perfumes. For the few that I have used, let me rate them to put this in perspective:
Mancera Red Tobacco [Decant] – 8.5/10.0
Aramis Tobacco Reserve [60ml] – 7.5/10.0
Red Tobacco Attar [Al Majid] – 7.0/10.0
Red Smaug [Inspired by Mancera] – 6.5/10.0
Red Tobacco [PerfumeSteal – non premium] – 6.0/10.0
If one does not want to unload close to 10K for Mancera Red Tobacco [120ml Retail] or 2K+ for Aramis Tobacco Reserve [60ml], it would be prudent to settle with Red Tobacco Attar from Al Majid for the price point that is being offered [6ml for Rs.400 as of today].
To my nose, the scent profile is 80 to 85% close to Mancera Red Tobacco, creates a scent bubble around you that has a lasting power to put to shame some reformulated perfumes from the designer houses!

This is a very nice tobacco fragrance. Definitely recommended.
Al-Majid Perfumes, thank you very much for this.
